Picea pungens 'Koster' is an evergreen shrub or tree. It has a slow to moderate growth rate. In gardens, it reaches 30'-60' tall and 10'-20' wide. In the wild, can reach 100' tall and 25'-35' across. Very stiff, regular, horizontal branches from a broad pyramidal foliage have a distinctive blue color. This is a highly combustible plant.
Planting Instructions: 1. Dig a hole 2 times the width and 1 and 1/2 times the height of the container. 2. Set rootball at ground level. 3. Prepare soil mix of equal parts soil and soil amendment. 4. Backfill with amended soil. 5. Build Basin and water.
