This clumping evergreen iris bears tall, narrow leaves to 30" tall and white flowers marked purple in the center on stalks up to 3' tall. This variety has stiffer, darker foiliage than the bicolor form. It requires sun to part shade with little or no summer watering when established.

This ornamental perennial grass grows 4'-6' tall and 1'-1.5' wide; it has semi-evergreen foliage that is green in spring and summer but turns green/brown in fall. The flowers bloom in mid June and emerge a light green but quickly turn to pink/purple. Tall grasses are highly combustible.
